A station prediction is a planning input, not a site-specific current meter and not a fishing forecast. Compare it with wind, weather, recent observations, and the exact structure you can fish safely.
Three practical adjustments
When flow changes, adjust angle, depth, and presentation control before changing the entire target plan.
- Angle: present with the flow instead of dragging unnaturally across it.
- Depth: add or remove weight only enough to reach the intended zone.
- Control: shorten casts or move when you cannot detect the bait or avoid hazards.
